Diário 3
Today was a very cool and special day, the day I conducted the first inspection of the CR mainnet.
I thank Filipe and his family for welcoming me so warmly and for agreeing to participate in the project. I started the day by hitting the road, heading straight to the Itapeti farm in the Guararema region of São Paulo. I was very well received by him and his family.
I briefly introduced the project again. I had visited them last year for some testing; today I just updated them on the project and we proceeded with the inspection. We had a small issue: their computer wasn't compatible with the version of rc-core we released. We need to generate builds for Mac computers with Intel chips, so they had to register using my computer. This is very cool on the one hand, because it shows how the importance of the system lies in the passphrase of their wallets, and not in the front-end itself. But I owe them that; our community will soon resolve this issue.
The inspection was fruitful, a cool area. I even managed to eat some blackberries during the visit, lol.
In total, I registered 101 trees/plants of 29 different species, resulting in a regeneration score of 5. Now we'll need to find more inspectors in this region so they can complete the initial phase with 3 inspections and be eligible to receive the Regeneration Credit as a reward for this valuable ecosystem restoration service.
Once again, thank you for the warm welcome and the pleasant day. I hope they'll be the first regenerator of many to come.
Now, I'll prepare for the official announcement of the project launch and the launch livestream.
We're ready for the next step!
